I do write from time to time, mostly to express what I feel in my heart.
I started writing around 3 years ago when I made my blog: Catch a Fire @ uprisingspirit.blogspot.com. I update it from time to time, for my own pleasure. It's pretty personal and I don't really promote it, mostly my good friends read it or people who get interested in me. I write what I feel, sometimes it's poetry, sometimes it is about something I learned, sometimes it's about someone I love. Sometimes it's just some humor or for fun. I don't think I have any particular style, but maybe I do. I write when I want to share something, and usually ideas and words flow! You can check my blog link and hope you like it.
Besides my blog, I developed last year a small series of my own newsletters, i call them museletters, from Muse = Inspiration. That's a trademark name that I invented and that I find pretty cool, so please don't use it or I will have to sue you! :)
You can find a sample of these museletters in the link above. They come to me naturally when I discover something new. I was planning to start sending them to friends and people once or twice a week, to promote myself and also any future activity I would do. A bit like the Philosophers Notes of Brian Johnson, I wanted to have my own museletters around. But then I got really busy and I kept them for myself!
I also love storytelling, because I love stories and biographies. I always thought I could tell these stories that I love myself in a compelling and exciting way that will grip and inspire the listener. I once planned to do a living from it, so I developed some story plots about 3 of my favorite biographies that I know pretty well. You can find a sample of these also in my link above.
I also wanted to teach my own version of Personal Development, for my friends and for interested people. So I developed a course syllabus that I call Be the Change. It is inspired mostly from the Law of Attraction/Napoleon Hill teachings, from Tony Robbins teachings in Awaken the Giant within, and also from spritual teachings of surrender in both Beckwith and Tolle. That was 9 months ago, if I make a new course syllabus now i would probably update it with new material, perhaps add more emphasis on the inner work exercises or on changing limiting believes. Anyway, the syllabus can give you a good idea of what I had in mind when I made it. Again please find it in the link above.
And last, I also run a facebook page in the name of Uprising Spirit. I share mostly spiritual and personal development messages with my friends. Again the link is given above. I have been sharing actually lots of FinerMinds material since few months already.
And just to give you an idea of how serious and passionate I am about researching the Personal Development and Spiritual fields, I share with you pictures of my personal research collection and library. It's a collection I built while living in Sumatera, with no bookstores around. I buy most of my books by the way from KL when i go there to renew my visa.
All this work I made under the name of Uprising Spirit. I call it an organisation, but so far it's really just me! :) I was planning one day to start promoting it a la Brendon Burchard! :) Anyway I am not into building an organisation now, it's really about me living my own dream, reading my own books and sharing about what I love. I love to call Uprising Spirit my magic carpet, the one I ride into the whole new world! :)
