I had a very rigorous formal western type education. First in a private French school in Beirut where I followed the french curriculum, and then in the American University of Beirut where I studied Engineering in American textbooks, and then in a French Business School in Paris where I followed my MBA program.

I learned languages, literatture, sciences, history, geography, and my left brain was trained rigorously to solve problems. As a result I acquired very strong analytical skills, and I am very good in planning, prioritising, budgeting and analysing. The downside is that my left brain took over my life when I was younger, and I lost contact with my feelings and intuition as a teen ager and during my engineering studies.

When I awakened, my right brain was freed and I discovered my creative side. And just like what Eckhart Tolle says, I had to unlearn many things as well. After all in my school I was taught the Newtonian physics, the mechanical functionning of the human body, the atomic composition of life, etc... It was very limiting. Now I know better!

Today I rely most on my guts and intuition and insights, and I am in touch with my inner being, still I enjoy having a very efficient and well trained left brain that stores a lot of information and helps me do effective planning and prioritising.
